The annual colloquium of the IRTG took place from 07th to 09th November 2022 on the campus of the École normale supérieure (ENS) in Gif-sur-Yvette, France. All members of the IRTG - principle investigators, post-docs and doctoral candidates - were invited and took part in the event.
During the colloquium, the doctoral candidates presented their work of the last year and had a chance to discuss issues and results with their colleagues. To further strengthen the collaboration between the French and German teams a free discussion round was organised. There, ideas were exchanged between the researchers and questions could be answered in detail. The programme was rounded of by visits to the labs of the university Paris-Saclay, as well as a festive dinner on Tuesday evening at Le Bistro de Gif in the town of Gif-sur-Yvette.
The colloquium was a fruitful get-together of all IRTG members and we take away many new ideas for our further research in France and Germany.
